The area in the south east to Cape Canaveral in the north east is known as the Space Coast. For the last 2 years this area has gone through a major expansion. The military is moving all their rocket range, smart bomb, and space sheild technologies into this corridor. It seems that the military has run out of room in California. They are fazing out of California and moving everything to the Space Coast.
